The demo changes fictional records in browser memory. Etsy authorization, production synchronization, external content analysis and invoice-provider connections are not implemented here. No Etsy approval or provider certification is claimed.
Proposed application purpose
DoLyz is a planned listing-management and back-office workspace for sellers’ own authorized Etsy shops. The intended scope includes creating and publishing listings, editing titles, descriptions, tags, images and alt text, managing prices and quantities, and deactivating or deleting listings. Sellers will review changes before they are applied, with explicit confirmation for permanent deletion.
Planned bulk upload and editing workflows will validate data and show proposed changes before synchronization. Mandatory Etsy fields, eligible listing states and any Etsy fees must be surfaced before live actions.

These are proposed scopes, not granted permissions. The final implementation must verify current endpoint requirements and request only access needed for enabled features. Buyer email access is not assumed; any additional restricted fields require their own demonstrated need and approval.
Content checks and performance analysis
The demo checks whether fictional listings contain a title, tags, duplicate tags and image alt text. It does not measure search rank, keyword demand, conversion or sales performance. Alt text is reviewed as an accessibility description, not a promise of ranking improvement.
The planned product includes title, tag and alt-text evaluation. Processing Etsy content for analytics or AI-related uses must be explicitly described in the application and assessed against Etsy’s written-authorization requirements before it is enabled. Standard commercial access must not be represented as blanket permission for all analysis. No Etsy content is sent to an AI service or used for model training in this preview.
Order data and company invoicing
Planned: read authorized order/payment details and prepare invoice data for a seller-connected financial or invoicing service. The selected service’s API would issue the actual company invoice. Etsy receipts and ledger entries are not a substitute for an official tax invoice.
Provider support and the company’s jurisdiction are not yet specified. Before enabling issuance, DoLyz must confirm provider capabilities, required buyer/company/tax information, legal processing authority, data-transfer permissions and relevant local requirements. Missing required information must block issuance; it must never be invented.
Automation is planned to be opt-in, with seller-defined rules, a unique order-to-invoice reference, duplicate prevention, safe retries, provider status tracking and an exception queue. This preview only simulates a preparation queue. It generates no legal invoice number, calls no provider and sends no buyer notification.
External invoice-provider sharing and any buyer delivery must be included in the approved use case and service disclosures, with any required written permissions. Authorization for Etsy access does not automatically authorize every onward transfer or customer communication.
Required production controls
- Etsy OAuth and explicit acceptance of current service terms and privacy notice.
- Protected server-side credentials, shop-level access checks and only necessary permissions.
- Preview and validation of individual and bulk changes; distinct deactivate/delete actions.
- Fresh data, rate-limit handling and protections against overwriting newer shop changes.
- Audit records, meaningful error states and a tested recovery process.
- Tested disconnect and deletion, with retention obligations disclosed.
- Provider-specific security, data-processing terms and tax validation before invoicing.
These controls are implementation requirements, not claims that the demo has a production backend. The live privacy notice must name actual providers and accurately explain storage, sharing, retention and seller controls.
